Application Purpose
The application consists of two parts: a voice translator and a speech synthesizer.
The voice translator works in conversation mode without using the Internet.
The speech synthesizer directs speech into the conversation during an active telephone conversation.
Both parts can work both independently from each other and together. To work together, you need two iOS devices, on one of which a translator works, and on the other a speech synthesizer. When a call arrives at the device where the synthesizer works, the joint work of the two parts allows simultaneous translation of the telephone conversation.
Install
Go to App page in the App Store and install it.
Requirements
The app works on iOS 15+ devices. Devices must meet the Universal Clipboard requirements for simultaneous phone translation. That is, both devices must be signed in with the same Apple Id and bluetooth and wifi must be enabled on the devices. Handoff is enabled on each device. Internet is not required.
Consept
Collaboration of the application on two devices for simultaneous translation of a telephone conversation is carried out as follows:
If there is an active phone call on device 2, in the properties of the call, turn off the microphone and direct the sound to the phone speaker. Then we open a speech synthesizer on the device.
Audio from device 2's speaker is picked up by device 1's microphone. The device must have a voice translator enabled and ear mode active. The phrase is recognized and translated into your language and displayed on the screen.
To answer, you need to press the microphone button and say the phrase in your language. The phrase is recognized, translated into the language of the caller and sent using the universal paste buffer to the speech synthesizer opened on device 1.
The speech synthesizer voices the phrase and routes the audio to the active telephone conversation.
